Heather Gardner
U10 Girls
Coach Heather's love of soccer started at the age of 4. She grew up in NJ and played soccer all over the
Tri-State area. She played on the Olympic Development team, was a alternate for the US National Team,
and played at the collegiate level. She started coaching her children's teams years ago and is excited to
join the Vermont United Team. She lives in Stowe with her husband and 3 kids who are also members of
the Vermont United Club.
In 2001, Heather moved to Vermont to snowboard and continues to play co-ed, women's and pick up
soccer. During her time in Vermont she went to graduate school at UVM graduating with a Doctorate of
Physical Therapy in 2010. Helping the young athletes return to their sport successfully is what she loves
about her job. She specializes in orthopedics and is certified in concussion management, agility training,
and Pilates. As a coach, Heather will not only focus on improving your athletes abilities and
understanding of the game but will also provide them with injury prevention skills.
