This will be Coach Norm’s Second Season with Vermont United

John “Norm” Peterson is the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Northern Vermont University-Johnson.  In his second season with the team, Coach Norm oversaw a team that produced two all-conference players, two conference players of the week, and a huge improvement in goals scored and goals allowed.  The team returned to the North Atlantic Conference playoffs for the first time since 2018. 

This season for Vermont United, Norm will be coaching the U12 girls and is excited to be adding the U19 girls as well. Coach Norm has coached with Mad River Soccer Club, Washington West School District and the Vermont ODP Program.  He lives in Waterbury with his wife and two children.  He has a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston College and is also an Academic Advisor at Johnson.
