Angie Faraci

Director Of Operations & VTUSA Boys U14 Coach Season 2023-24

Coach Angie and her Peoples High School Soccer team won the 2022 + 2020 Boys Division 3 State Title! Angie is the first Woman to win a Boys Championship in Vermont and we are sure this is not the last. Angie was recognized as Vermont Small School Coach of the Year for the second time (2017, 2020) as well as 2020 Vermont Soccer Coach of Year!  Faraci holds a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Diploma. 

For the past 35 years she has coached various levels: five years with VTUSA, 13 years with the Nordic Premier Soccer Club as a both a staff coach and head coach for girls teams ages 10-18; seven years boys varsity Peoples Academy, 10 years as head coach of Browns River Middle School (BRMS, Jericho, VT) 7-8th grade girls soccer teams; three years as head women’s coach at Johnson State College (JSC, Johnson, Vermont); and six years high school girls varsity program director/coach at Johnstown High School (Johnstown, NY.) 

Faraci played college soccer at SUNY Cortland (Cortland, NY) where she anchored her team to a NCAA Division III National Championship title in 1992; captained her senior year in 1995. She was named to the 1992 NCAA Final Four All-Tournament team, and for three separate years placed on the All-SUNYAC and All-Region teams. Faraci has a Health Education Certification (K-12), a Master’s degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology (SUNY-Albany) and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education (K-12), with a concentration in coaching, from SUNY-Cortland. 

Coach Faraci has taught Physical Education for 28 years; six years at Johnstown High School, seventeen years at BRMS and teaches at Peoples Academy Middle Level School (Morrisville, Vermont) where in 2018 she received 2018 Vermont Distinguished Service Award in Teaching Physical Education.

This year Angie takes on a new role for the club as Director of Operations and she will be coaching for Lamoille Union Middle School as their 7th & 8th grades boys soccer coach.
